About TwinPendulums

Ideas that resonate

TwinPendulums is born from a simple belief: the best way to learn science is to play with it. Through interactive simulations and hands-on exploration, we make complex concepts accessible to curious minds everywhere.

Our Mission

To democratize science education by creating interactive tools that transform abstract concepts into tangible experiences. We believe that when you can see, touch, and manipulate scientific phenomena, learning becomes intuitive and lasting.

What We Stand For

Curiosity First

We design tools that spark questions and encourage exploration. Every simulation is an invitation to wonder “what if?”

Accessible Learning

Science should be for everyone. Our tools work on any device and require no special software or complex setup.

Passion Driven

Built with love for science education, not profit margins. Every feature is crafted to enhance understanding.

The Story Behind TwinPendulums

TwinPendulums started with a simple observation: students often struggle with physics concepts not because they're inherently difficult, but because they're taught in abstract ways. Equations on a blackboard can't capture the beauty of a pendulum's motion or the elegance of wave interference.

The breakthrough came with the twin pendulums simulation. Watching students' faces light up as they discovered chaos theory through play, seeing them naturally develop intuitions about complex systems – that's when we knew we were onto something special.

Today, TwinPendulums serves students, educators, and curious minds around the world. Each tool is carefully crafted to reveal the underlying beauty and logic of natural phenomena, one interaction at a time.

Meet the Creator

Hi, I'm Surya Sankar, the person behind TwinPendulums. As a passionate educator and developer, I believe that the intersection of technology and pedagogy can create powerful learning experiences.

When I'm not building simulations, you'll find me exploring new scientific concepts, reading about education research, or simply marveling at the patterns in nature. TwinPendulums is my way of sharing that wonder with the world.

Join Our Community

TwinPendulums is more than just a collection of simulations – it's a community of learners, educators, and science enthusiasts. Whether you're a student discovering physics for the first time, a teacher looking for engaging classroom tools, or a lifelong learner exploring new concepts, you're welcome here.

Have ideas for new simulations? Found a bug? Want to share how TwinPendulums helped you understand a concept? We'd love to hear from you. This project grows through community feedback and support.

Looking Forward

We're just getting started. The future holds exciting possibilities: more interactive simulations, advanced visualization tools, collaborative features, and new ways to make science accessible to everyone. Thank you for being part of this journey.
